Responsibilities

  • Lead global procurement for resins and sterilization processes, ensuring a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with Abbott’s business goals.
  • Manage the corporate PFAS program, ensuring compliance with global regulations and minimizing risk.
  • Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and compliance.
  • Negotiate supply agreements and manage supplier relationships.
  • Promote supplier diversity and track diversity spend performance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across R&D, quality, production, and other departments.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and regulatory changes to inform procurement decisions.
  • Report on key performance indicators including cost savings, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6–10 years of procurement experience, preferably with a focus on resins and sterilization.
  • Strong knowledge of global procurement practices and supply chain management.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement procurement strategies and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Experience managing corporate programs and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
